I am 51 years old and hadn’t had a period for more than a year. Royal Maca has been fantastic in relieving my intense hot flashes but now I just got a menstrual period again. Is this normal?
A: It’s not usual, but it does happen to a few women. These returned periods usually last for two to three months only and then they disappear again. Some women are happy to see their old friend again; others are not so thrilled. But in any case, it’s nothing to worry about.
